A Stormy Afternoon Exploring the Expansive Badlands National Park

A grassy field near the visitor center gives way to the craggy rock formations that make Badlands National Park so amazing.

My buddy Brian stands alone while he watches storm clouds drop heavy rain in the distance.

The expansiveness of Badlands National Park is impressive to say the least.

Driving around the park, you'll experience periods of flat, green plains and then all of a sudden, boom, you're surrounded by craggy rock.

See?

Storm clouds plus sunsets equal rainbows.
