Last Day in Iceland

8:35am

On the way to blue lagoon. Goodbye Reykjavik.

9:34am

Just got to the Blue Lagoon. Feels like I’m on the moon. The entire surrounding area is volcanic rock that rises up to the height of the bus so you can’t really see anything in the distance, but random steam plumes and mountains far away.

12:30pm

On the way from the Blue Lagoon to Keflavik airport. My luggage apparently finally arrived which is amazeballs. The Blue Lagoon was really awesome. Quite a posh establishment I must say, but the experience was well worth the money. Like the hot spring river we encountered while horseback rising, this was the same in theory, but was essentially four swimming pools large or hot tub water with saunas, heated water falls and the likes flanking it. Then there are full service spas and a restaurant and more making this place the go to place of your body is in any kind of pain. It’s essentially a man made fountain of youth.
